Aircraft History Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 6474. Assigned to the U.S. Army Air Force as RA-29 serial number 41-36985. Assigned Royal Air Force (RAF) serial number FH184. Disassembled and send overseas as part of defense aid consignment. Wartime History On April 5, 1942 delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Hudson A16-206 and reassembled by 1 Air Depot (1 AD). This Hudson was flight tested on May 7, 1942. On January 10, 1943 assigned to No. 6 Squadron. No known nickname or nose art. On January 17, 1943 during the Japanese air raid on Turnbull Field (No. 3 Strip) near Milne Bay destroyed on the ground. Wreckage Afterwards, the wreckage was assigned to 15 Repair Salvage Unit (15 RSU). On February 11, 1943 officially stricken from charge. Ultimate fate unknown, likely abandoned or scrapped.
