Built by Nakajima. Uncoded serial number unknown (two digits). Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as Type 2 Land Based Reconnaissance Aircraft Gekko / J1N1-C Irving manufacture number unknown (three digits).

Wartime History
Assigned to an unknown Kōkūtai (Air Group) at Manggar Airfield on eastern Borneo. This Irving was abandoned with both engines removed parked in the open.

Wreckage
During 1945, the wreckage of this Irving was captured by the Australian Army at Manggar Airfield. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
