Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi at the Oe-machi plant during early March 1943. Assigned to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) to an unknown unit. Painted in an overall gray color scheme. This aircraft operated in New Guinea.
Wartime History
Abandoned at Alexishafen Airfield.
Wreckage
Until 1974, the wreckage of this Dinah remained in a
small stream bed. Partially dismantled in 1974 by Charles
Darby for a Dinah restoration
project based on wrecks around New Guinea. The project was
never completed, nor were the components ever salvaged. Sometime in the later
1970's, these components were scrapped.
