Aircraft History Built by Kawasaki. True serial number unknown (three digits). Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 99 Light Bomber Kyu Kyu Sohkei / Ki-48-II Otsu (Lily) manufacture number unknown (four digits). Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Hiko Sentai (Flying Reigment). No known markings or tail code. While parked at Babo Airfield sustained damage around the cockpit and middle of the fuselage. Afterwards, stripped for usable parts and abandoned in the open. Wreckage Until the 1980s, this Lily remained in situ at Babo Airfield. The nose section was missing and the aircraft had shrapnel damage . Salvage During the 1980s, moved to the tarmac area of Babo Airfield then via Biak to the Indonesian Air Force Museum at Yogyakarta Airfield (Adisucipto). Restoration This Lily was placed into storage at the Indonesian Air Force Museum (AURI) and was placed into storage and is not on public display.
