Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed in Burbank. At the factory painted with Netherlands insignia with LT9-22 in white on the rear fuselage. Disassembled and shipped as cargo to the Netherlands East Indies (NEI) and reassembled. Delivered to the Netherlands East Indies Air Force (NEIAF) as Lodestar serial number LT9-22.

Wartime History
On February 18, 1942 one of three Lodestars arrived at Archerfield Airfield and was parked alongside B-17E "Naughty But Nice" 41-2430. This plane sustained serious damage to the fuselage when DC-3 VH-ACB collided with both parked aircraft. Afterwards this Lodestar was written off. Ultimate fate unknown likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
