Aircraft History
Built by Kawanishi at Naruo during 1944. At the factory, painted with green upper surfaces and gray lower surfaces. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as N1K1-J Model 11 Shiden (George) manufacture number 5368.

Wartime History
Assigned to 341 Kōkūtai (341 Air Group), Sento Hikotai 402 (Fighter Squadron 402). Tail code 341-S49 in yellow (the S represented Sento Hikotai). The tail code is also listed as 341 S-49. By late January 1945 abandoned at Clark Field.

Wreckage
On January 30, 1945 captured by the U.S. Army at Clark Field. This aircraft was studied by Technical Air Intelligence Unit - South West Pacific Area (TAIU-SWPA). Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
