N1K2-J George parked inside Showa Aircraft Co. Ltd. hanger
Jim Long adds: "The plane behind the N1J2-J George is one of the Type Zero Transport Planes that Showa built. This one was probably an L2D4-1 model. I'm not sure. The L2D4-1 was armed. You can see a blister atop pf the fuselage just above the engine accessory section of the N1K2-J. This blister housed a machine gun. Two other machine guns could be fired from fuselage hatches."
