On December 24, 1943 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-38J-15-LO Lightning serial number 42-103979. Wartime History Assigned to Material Command at Wright Field. Later, operated from Cleveland and Cincinnati and used as a ferry aircraft. Fate On November 8, 1945 at Walnut Ridge to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC) for disposal or sale. Ultimate fate unknown Likely scrapped.
