P-38H "Porky II" 42-66506 at 3 Mile Drome (Kila) near Port Moresby
The left side of the nose has squadron letter "A" atop the constructors number 1017 with nickname "Porky II". Below the cockpit is "Maj Edward Cragg" and eight Japanese rising sun flags (2 flags x 4 rows) indicating Cragg's aerial victory claims as of August 21, 1943. The left propeller blade has stenciled "42-66506".
