P-38H "Porky II" 42-66506 with Major Edward Cragg at 3 Mile Drome (Kila) near Port Moresby
The left side of the nose has squadron letter "A" atop the constructors number 1017 with nickname "Porky II". Below the cockpit is "Maj Edward Cragg" and ten Japanese rising sun flags (2 flags x 5 rows) indicating Cragg's aerial victory claims as of September 4, 1943. The left propeller blade has stenciled "42-66506".
