On the left side of the nose is the nickname "Charlcie Jeann" and a in an old English style font. Nose number 84 with smaller stenciled constructors number 1027. Painted on the left side of the cockpit was "Lt. J. A. Watkins" with Japanese rising sun flags (5x5x1) representing his eleven aerial victory claims as of August 2, 1943.
