Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 422-4960. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-38L-1-LO Lightning serial number 44-23956. At the factory, photographed with Major Richard I. Bong speaking with two other officers. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
