1st Lt. Wynans "Flip" E. Frankfort in the cockpit of his P-47 Thunderbolt
On October 22, 1943 bailed out of P-47D 42-22497 over the Fly River area and returned to duty. On May 27, 1944 pilot P-47D Thunderbolt 42-75940 over southern Biak and went Missing In Action (MIA).
