Aircraft History Built by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation in San Diego. Constructors Number 1989. Delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as PBY-5A Catalina bureau number 46624. Postwar Placed into storage at Litchfield Park, Arizona in January 1953 and struck off charge in June 1956. To David Tallichet at Chino, California, in 1979. Listed on the US civil register as N9502C until April 1, 2002. Today The aircraft is currently displayed at the RAAF Association of Western Australia (RAAFAWA) Aviation Heritage Museum. Was on civilian registry as N9502C and deregistered Apr 1, 2002 on delivery to Australia for the Australian American Catalina Memorial Foundation. Displayed in Royal Australian Air Force Association Aviation Heritage Museum in US Navy markings. Also reported as being on display at McChord AFB, Washington."
