Mission History On December 27, 1943 took off from Tontouta Airfield near Nouméa on New Caledonia on a flight bound for Bomber 1 (Pekoa Field) on Espiritu Santo. Reportedly as missing near Wallis Island (Uvea). When this aircraft failed to arrive it was officially listed as Missing In Action (MIA).
