Life raft used by Dixon crew to survive 34 days displayed at National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM Museum)
This life raft was aboard TBD-1 Devastator 0335 ditched January 16, 1942 and used by the crew ACMM Harold F. Dixon, AOM2c Anthony J. Pastula and RM3c Gene Aldrich survived 34 days floating at sea before reaching Pukapuka Island (Puka Puka Island) where they were rescued by USS Swan (AVP-7).
