Aircraft History
Built by Noorduyn. Constructors Number 704. On November 6, 1944 delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as UC-64A Norseman serial number 44-70439. Afterwards, flown to Los, Angeles arriving November 22, 1944. Disassembled and shipped across the Pacific to Brisbane on February 19, 1945 and later to the Philippines.

Wartime History
Assigned to the Far East Air Force (FEAF), 5th Air Liaison Group (Provisional), 3rd Air Commando Group (3rd ACG) based at Mangaldan Airfield on Luzon in the Philippines. This plane was assigned to either the 157th Liaison Squadron, 159th Liaison Squadron or 160th Liaison Squadron. No known nickname or nose art.

On May 22, 1945 photographed taxing at Rosales Airfield (Carmen).

Postwar
On May 31, 1946 assigned to Kisarazu Airfield in Japan. On June 31, 1946 this plane may have been involved in an accident. On August 23, 1946 condemned and written off. Afterwards, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.

"Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No. 44-70439 on November 6, 1944. Flown to Los, Angeles, California, arriving November 22. Shipped to Brisbane, Australia on February 19, 1945. Appears to have served in the Philippines. On orders issued in Manila, Luzon, Philippines it was diverted to Kisarazu, Japan on May 31, 1946. May have been involved in an accident on June 31, 1946. Condemned on August 23, 1946."
