Aircraft History
Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). Constructors Number 256. Assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) during August 1941.

Post War
Sold to J.T. Brown and registered as VH-ALV on February 21, 1946. Later, registered VH-ALV to J. T. Brown May 24, 1946. Flown until October 22, 1947.

Returned to flying status during 1949, 1951, 1954-1962 and 1963-1968. Damaged near Moorabbin on August 26, 1968.

Display
This Wackett is displayed at Australian National Aviation Museum. Next, displayed at Air World until it closed in 2002. Afterwards, displayed at Precision Aerospace until 2004. During 2005, moved to RAAF Museum at Point Cook with plans for further restoration.
