Also known as Millingimbi Airfield, Millingimbi Strip or Millingimbi Drome. Still in use today as Millingimbi Airport. Wartime History During the Pacific War, Millingimbi Airfield was used by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). RAAF units based at Millingimbi No. 2 Squadron (Hudson) 1943 A-29 Hudson A16-112 Force landed on May 7, 1943, converted to components and abandoned. Today Still in use today as Millingimbi Airport as a small airport. Airport codes: ICAO: YMGB IATA: MGT.
