Location
Oenpelli Airfield is located at Oenpelli mission station, east of East Alligator River to the east Darwin. Also known as Oenpelli Emergency Landing Strip (Oenpelli ELS).

Wartime History
During the Pacific War, used as an emergency landing strip (ELS). Disused since the end of the war.
