Location Lat 23° 50' 36N Long 90° 23' 52E Fenny Airfield was located near Feni in Feni District in the Chittagong Division of southeast Bangladesh. Known to the Americans as "Fenny Airfield", a misspelling of "Feni". Prewar and during the Pacific War located in India. Today located in Bangladesh. Wartime History During 1944 used by United States Army Air Force (USAAF), 10th Air Force as a military airfield or bombers and fighters. Fenny Airfield was the base of the 12th Bombardment Group after it departed the 12th Air Force (12th AF) based in southern Italy and joined the 10th Air Force (10th AF) in China-Burma-India (CBI) theater flying combat missions over Burma and supporting the British 14th Army. Also based the 3rd Combat Cargo Group (Commando) performing air drops and transportation flights in support of ground forces. Fenny was also a maintenance depot for the USAAF Air Technical Service Command maintenance depot. During the Pacific War, bombed by Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) aircraft.
