American missions against Sinuiju and Sinuiju Airfield (K-30)
November 1, 1950–July 9, 1951

November 1, 1950
(USAF) A reconassiance RF-80 observed 15 Yak aircraft parked in revetments near Sinuiju Airfield. Afterwards, three flights of F-80s proceeded to strafe the airfield destroying one Yak and damaging 6 others.

January 23, 1951
(USAF) 33 F-84s of the 27th Fighter-Escort Wing attack Sinuiju airfield, provoking a response from MiG-15s across the Chinese border at Antung Airfield. F-84's claim four MiG-15s shot down in the ensuing dogfight.

April 1951
Reconnaissance showed that the KPAF had based 38 Yak-9s, Il-10s and La-5s in revetments at Sinuiju.

May 9, 1951
(USAF, USMC) 312 5th Air Force and 1st Marine Aircraft Wing planes attacked the base destroying all of the aircraft, numerous buildings, fuel and supply dumps.

July 9, 1951
(USAF) F-86s intercept B-29s bombing the airfield are intercepted by MiG-15s. The F-86s claim 1 MiG shot down, and the B-29s claim 1 MiG shot down.

February 10, 1952
(USAF) F-86s intercept MiG-15 over the Sinuiju-Yalu River. F-86 Sabre 51-2752 pilot Major George Davis claimed two MiG-15s over Sinuiju before he was shot down and crashed.
