Location
Falalop Seaplane Base was a seaplane operating area with shore facilities on Falalop Island.
Prewar and during the Pacific War known as the Caroline Islands. American code named "Ameliorate". Today located in Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia.

Construction
Between November 4, 1944 to December 5, 1944 the 8th Naval Construction Battalion (88th CB) "Seabees" built a seaplane ramp was constructed at one end of Falalop Airfield at the edge of Falalop Island. This ramp, which extended from extreme low-water mark to the hardstand was 50' by 95', surfaced with pierced plank, and protected along the outer edges by a concrete slab. Work was completed five days ahead of schedule.

Wartime History
During the Pacific War, both the Japanese and Americans used Falalop as a seaplane base. During the Japanese occupation of Ulithi they used Falalop as a seaplane base. During the American occupation of Ulithi, used as a seaplane base between late 1944 until the end of the Pacific War.

Today
Disused since the Pacific War.
