Location Bolo Airfield was located at Bolo Point on the western coast of Okinawa Island in Okinawa Prefecture in Japan. Located to the northeast of Yontan Airfield. Also known as "Bolo Point" or "Bolo Point Airfield". Construction Built by the U.S. Navy (USN) 87th Naval Construction Battalion "Seabees" with a single runway measuring 7,500' x 200'.
