Location Harbin Airfield (No. 2) was one of three airfields located in the vicinity of Harbin, south of Stary-Harbin suburn, south a cement plant, and west of a race track. A railroad track ran parallel to the runway. Between 1932–1945 located in Manchuria (Empire of Manchukuo). Today located in Heilongjiang Province in the Inner Mongolia (Nei Mongol Autonomous Region (NMAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Wartime History Prewar Manchukuoan / Japanese Army Air Force airfield. During the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan Incident this airfield used by JAAF aircraft May - September 1939.
