Location Calarian Airfield is located at Calarian parallel to the coastline at the southern tip of the Zamboanga Peninsula on Mindanao, to the west of San Roque Airfield (Moret Field) and Zamboanga. Also known as Calarian Airdrome. Wartime History During 1942 occupied by the Japanese. Starting in the middle of January 1945, attacked by U.S. aircraft until early March 1945. American missions against Calarian January 18 - March 10, 1945 During March 1945 liberated by the U.S. Army. Afterwards, used as an emergency landing strip.
