Location
Iboki Airfield is located near Iboki on New Britain. Today located in West New Britain Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Construction
During late February 1944, built by the Americans after the occupation of the Iboki area.
Wartime History
Iboki Airfield was used by liaison spotting planes piloted by US Army personnel operating between the Cape Gloucester and Talasea. One L-4 crash landed at Iboki when it attempted take off overloaded (date unknown).
