PT-150 and PT 192 fired at shore defenses and a storage tank at Linderhafen and discovered the defenses were abandoned.

(5th AF) B-24's hit Lindenhafen.

January 17, 1944
(RAAF) Beauforts from No. 6 Squadron, No. 8 Squadron and No. 100 Squadrons at Vivigani Airfield bomb a camp and dump area near the Amgen River north of Lindenhafen.

January 30, 1944
(RAAF) Bostons from 22 Squadron bomb Linderhafen. Hit by anti-aircraft fire and lost near Cape Dampier is A-20C Boston A28-27 (KIA).
