Location
Lat 8° 32' 45S 147° 15' 9E Woitape Airport is located at an elevation of 5,200' to the north of Woitape in the Owen Stanley Range of New Guinea. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Central District in the Territory of Papua. Today located in Central Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Construction
This is not a wartime airfield. Built postwar as a single runway measures 3,000' x 148' (915m x 45m) serviceable
by light aircraft only.

Still in use today as Woitape Airport used by light aircraft only. Airport code: ICAO: AYWT IATA: WTP.
