Indian POW plaque at Cape Wom Memorial Park at Cape Wom Airfield
The plaque reads: "In memory of 3,000 Indian soldiers who during World War II as Prisoners of War in this country in Japanese captivity made the supreme sacrifice of their lives and established a unique example of extreme devotion to duty and loyalty for the cause of righteousness and peace in the world. May God bless them."
