Dumaguete Airfield at the southeast of Negros Island
Indicated at the center are the two Japanese built runways: Dumaguete Airfield measuring 4,300' x 500' and Auxiliary Airfield measuring 4,300' x 500' plus Old Airstrip 1939 measuring 2,100' x 500' oriented to roughly north to south. Also indicated are revetments under construction to the northwest, south and southeast plus barracks and the southeastern coast of Negros Island and National Highway No. 1 northward to Sibulan and southward towards Dumaguete.
