USAAF: Ditched is C-46 Commando 44-77317 (crew rescued). Condemned and scrapped is A-20G "Little Joe" 43-21475 after a long service life from early 1944 until the end of the Pacific War.
USMC: Marine Corps Air Facility at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, had been reduced to a caretaker status.
RAN: HMAS Diamantina (K377) arrives at Ocean Island and embarks a Japanese envoy to negotiate the surrender of the garrison of roughly 530 personnel.
