FEBRUARY 10, 1952

(USAF) Three F-86s from 334th FIS led by F-86E Sabre 51-2752 piloted by Major George Davis took off on a mission over Sinuiju and the Yalu River. Over the target, he observed a flight of twelve MiG-15s attempting to intercept American fighter-bombers and dove to attack with his wingmen. During the combat, he claimed three MiG-15s shot down before he was hit and crashed. Lost was F-86E Sabre 51-2752 piloted by Major George Davis who went Missing In Action (MIA) and later earned the Medal of Honor for his actions.

(USAF) Lost is B-26B Invader 44-34570 (MIA).
