Location
Located on the port side of Fort Drum on (El Fraile Island) in Manila Bay.

Construction
Built prewar. Named Battery Roberts in honor of Benjamin K. Roberts, U.S. Army. This batterly emplaced into the port side of Fort Drum with two 6" M1908 MI guns in M1920 carriages, in a double level casemate.

Wartime History
During early 1942, Battery Roberts was exposed to direct shelling by the Japanese Army artillery. During the liberation of Luzon, Battery Roberts was hit by gun fire from a US Navy cruiser, destroying the lower gun.

Today
The upper gun barrel remains intact, the lower barrel is missing.
