Gun History
Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a twin mount Type 89 12cm Gun / 127mm Anti-Aircraft Gun serial numbers unknown.

Wartime History
This gun was transported to Truk Lagoon and installed as one of two guns in a concrete emplacement near the summit of Mount Uinku on Eten Island. Behind the gun is the entrance to a tunnel that connects to other defensive positions.

Wreckage
This gun remains in situ. The left gun barrel remains and the right gun barrel is missing or removed. The four recoil cylinders are still intact.
