Wartime History Built at the Osaka Arsenal in Osaka. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as 75mm Field Gun Type 38 (1905) Field Gun serial number 1619. This gun was likely built as a Type 38 then modified into an Improved Type 38 version with a hollow box trail and equilibrators added. Wartime History During the Pacific War, transported to Luzon in the Philippines. During 1945, captured by the U.S. Army. Display This gun is displayed outdoors with replica wheels at Villa Escudero.
