Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as 75mm Anti-Aircraft Gun Type 88 manufacture number unknown. This gun was transported to New Guinea.
Wartime History
During 1943, emplaced at Alexishafen or at the edge of Alexishafen Airfield.
Wreckage
This gun mount was abandoned
(or moved) to a cross road on the North Coast Road at Alexishafen. Nearby was a M3 Medium Tank (Lower Half). By 2023, this gun mount was missing or scrapped.
