Location
Gertrude Cove borders the southern coast of Kiska Island in the Aleutian Island Chain (Aleutian Islands) in Alaska in the United States.

Wartime History
In early June 1942, used by the Japanese as an anchorage by the Japanese Navy warships and transports on Kiska Island. Starting on October 6, 1942 attacked by U.S. bombers and fighters targeting vesels in Gertrude Cove.
