Lat 19° 44' 42N Long 96° 7' 47E  Naypyidaw is the national capital of Myamar (Burma) located in the Naypyidaw Union Territory in Myamar (Burma). Located two miles west of Pyinmana, and approximately 200 miles north of Yangon (Rangoon).Formally known as Kyetpyay, Pyinmana or Kyatpyay, Pyinmana. Also known known as Nay Pyi Taw, Nepranytau or Naypyitaw. Prewar and during World War II part of British Burma (Burma). Previously, the capital was Yangon (Rangoon).

Today
During 2005, Naypyidaw was settled. On November 6, 2005 Naypyidaw became the capital of Myamar (Burma).
