Location Lat 7° 22' 3 N Long 149° 10' 39 E Alet Island is located in Puluwat Atoll (Polowat) surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. Also known as Eallen, Alel, Allei, Aaru To, Alet Island, Aaru To, Alel, or Allei. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Caroline Islands. Today located in the Polowat Municipality, Chuuk State (Truk) in the Federated States of Micronesia. To the east is Truk Lagoon.
