Location
Kupwuriso is a mountain range with an elevation of roughly 2,500' located southeast of Kolonia (Colonia) in the center of Pohnpei (Ponape). Also known as "Kupwuriso Mountain" or "Kupwuriso Hill".

Wartime
Occupied by the Japanese. During the war, they emplaced two 6" guns at this location.
