Japanese Searchlight Installation
The Japanese had a large concrete searchlight installation on the summit of Palikir Hill. The whole hill is crisscrossed with trenches and emplacements for field guns.

Stan Gajda reports:
"I have found a few 6.5mm and 13mm cartridges up there. In recent years some yahoos undid the searchlight and rolled the drum down the hill where it finished up in the bush near PBJ "Love Bug" 35275. Now, it is all smashed up."
