(USN) Strike 3A: USS Yorktown aircraft make twelve strafing runs against buildings and a tower on Salat.

Strike 3C: Eight USS Yorktown aircraft make strafing runs were made against Salat.

Strike 3-A: One SB2C Helldiver unable to release its bomb instead bombs Salat.
(USN) Strike 3-C: One division of F6F Hellcats armed with depth charges or bombs attacked gun position without guns on Salat making glide bombing attacks with three bombs exploding in the barracks area, with one a dud. Afterwards, the area was strafed.
(USN) Strike 3-D: A single SB2C drops a 1,000 pound bomb on Salat destroying buildings and started a fire on Salat.
