Location
Taugalap Island is located in Woleai Atoll in Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia. Also known as Tagaulap. To to northeeast is Mariyang Island and Woleai Island. To the east is East Lagoon.

Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the war.
