Location
The Badung Strait (Badoeng Strait) is is rougly 60km long and 20km wide located betweeen Bali Island to the northwest and Penida Island to the southeast. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Bali Province in Indonesia.

The Battle of Badung Strait (Bali Sea Battle) happened during the night of February 19, 1942–February 20, 1942 in the Badung Strait between the American-British-Dutch-Australian Command (ABDA) warships and Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) warships and resulted in a Japanese victory.
