Location Kungchuling is located in southern Manchuria, south of Hsinking (Changchun). Between 1932–1945 part of Manchuko (Empire of Manchukuo). Today known as Gongzhuling in Jilin Province (Kirin Province) of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Wartime History During the Japanese occupation of Manchuria known as Kungchuling. The Kwantung Army had a base at this location, including a tank school. Also an experimental agricultural station during the 1930s. Units based at Kungchuling 1st Tank Brigade / 1st Tank Group C.O.
