Location
Siquijor Island in located in Siquijor Province (Province of Siquijor) in the Central Visayas (Region VII) in the central Philippines. To the west is Negros, to the north is Cebu and to the northeast is Bohol. The province is the third smallest in the country.
Wartime History
On September 30, 1943 submarine USS Bowfin (SS-287) delivers supplies and evacuates people from Siquijor Island.
