Enlargement of B-25 low level strike against Japanese barges in Ulingan Harbor
Caption: "This scene of near-total destruction is in Uligan Harbor on the north coast of New Guinea. The sunken barges are Jap vessels, which were trying to land supplies to their forces when B-25 Mitchell medium bomber of the U.S. Army 5th Air Force struck. Such forays by American planes are everyday occurrences since the air-land sea warfare in the South Pacific has been stepped up in tempo." Photo release date 2/1/44.
