Soldiers from 57/60th Infantry Battalion examining Japanese Type 94 75mm mountain gun abandoned by the Japanese during their retreat along the Bodadjim Road (Bogadjim-Yaula Road)
The breech is removed likely by the Japanese before being abandoned. Two soldiers are holding 75mm artillery shells. Identified Personnel: Private P. J. O'Donnell, V155842 (2); Private S. J. Ladiges, VX142242 (3); Private J. J. Tognazzini, VX113662 (4); Staff-Sergeant N. G. Parrot, VX142143 (5); Private C. A. Cobble, Q257056 (6); Corporal G. H. Hirt, VX113653 (7).
