Location
Bai is located to the east of But inland from the north coast of New Guinea. At this location is the end of the servicable road that spanned from Wewak as
far as Bai then onward to Aitape. This road is
prone to flooding. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Sepik District in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in East Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Japanese Vehicle Convoy
A line of abandoned Japanese trucks is in the vicinity on the north side of the road.
